About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and direct the asset management team across multiple customer sites
- Oversee performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of customer facilities, infrastructure, and physical assets
- Provide strategic oversight of facility maintenance, repair, and capital improvement programs
- Analyze facility and asset performance metrics, operating costs, maintenance expenditures, and financial results
- Lead annual planning for facility operations, capital projects, resource allocation, and long-range asset management strategies
- Establish governance, standards, and best practices for asset management, facility operations, maintenance planning, and performance reporting
- Advise Asset Managers and customers on complex operational issues, facility risks, capital priorities, and asset optimization
- Partner with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations
- Review and approve strategies to improve profitability, asset reliability, asset life cycles, and customer satisfaction
- Manage account strategy, long-term customer obligations, KPIs, capital planning, customer account performance, and operational escalations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor' Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field
- Four years of directly related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
- Minimum seven years of related experience required
- Three years of leadership experience in asset management, facilities management, operations and maintenance (O&M), energy infrastructure, property operations, or a related operational environment
- Knowledge of facilities and asset management practices
- Knowledge and ability to enforce safety policies within the department
- Ability to create additional business growth opportunities through customer management
- Ability to manage profit and losses and report on quarterly and monthly projections
- Ability to create reliable financial forecasts
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Industry and competitor knowledge
- Ability to perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time to job sites and office locations
- Ability to assess work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness
- Ability to climb stairs and remain stationary for prolonged periods
- Ability to adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
