About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of customer facilities, infrastructure, and physical assets
Provide strategic oversight of facility maintenance, repair, and capital improvement programs
Review and analyze facility and asset performance metrics, operating costs, maintenance expenditures, and financial results
Lead annual planning for facility operations, capital projects, resource allocation, and long-range asset management strategies across multiple customer sites
Establish governance, standards, and best practices for asset management, facility operations, maintenance planning, and performance reporting
Advise Asset Managers and customers on complex operational issues, facility-related risks, capital investment priorities, and asset optimization
Partner with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure facilities and critical systems operate safely, efficiently, and compliantly
Review and approve asset management and facility operations strategies to improve profitability, reliability, asset life cycles, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field, or four years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree
Minimum seven years of related experience
Minimum three years of leadership experience in asset management, facilities management, O&M, energy infrastructure, property operations, or a related operational environment
Knowledge of facilities and asset management practices
Ability to enforce safety policies within the department
Ability to create business growth opportunities through customer management
Ability to manage profit and losses and report quarterly and monthly projections
Ability to create reliable financial forecasts
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, able to manage ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of the industry and the Company’s competitors
Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary
Ability to travel to job sites and office locations 50% of the time
Ability to assess work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness
Ability to climb stairs and remain stationary for prolonged periods
Ability to adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
