About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of customer facilities, infrastructure, and physical assets
  • Provide strategic oversight of facility maintenance, repair, and capital improvement programs
  • Review and analyze facility and asset performance metrics, operating costs, maintenance expenditures, and financial results
  • Lead annual planning for facility operations, capital projects, resource allocation, and long-range asset management strategies across multiple customer sites
  • Establish governance, standards, and best practices for asset management, facility operations, maintenance planning, and performance reporting
  • Advise Asset Managers and customers on complex operational issues, facility-related risks, capital investment priorities, and asset optimization
  • Partner with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure facilities and critical systems operate safely, efficiently, and compliantly
  • Review and approve asset management and facility operations strategies to improve profitability, reliability, asset life cycles, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field, or four years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum seven years of related experience
  • Minimum three years of leadership experience in asset management, facilities management, O&M, energy infrastructure, property operations, or a related operational environment
  • Knowledge of facilities and asset management practices
  • Ability to enforce safety policies within the department
  • Ability to create business growth opportunities through customer management
  • Ability to manage profit and losses and report quarterly and monthly projections
  • Ability to create reliable financial forecasts
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, able to manage ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the industry and the Company’s competitors
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary
  • Ability to travel to job sites and office locations 50% of the time
  • Ability to assess work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness
  • Ability to climb stairs and remain stationary for prolonged periods
  • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
