About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide leadership and direction to the asset management team across multiple customer sites
Oversee performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of customer facilities, infrastructure, and physical assets
Provide strategic oversight of facility maintenance, repair, and capital improvement programs
Review and analyze facility and asset performance metrics, operating costs, maintenance expenditures, and financial results
Lead annual planning for facility operations, capital projects, resource allocation, and long-range asset management strategies
Establish governance, standards, and best practices for asset management, facility operations, maintenance planning, and performance reporting
Advise Asset Managers and customers on complex operational issues, facility-related risks, capital investment priorities, and asset optimization
Partner with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations
Review and approve asset management and facility operations strategies to improve profitability, asset reliability, asset life cycles, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor' Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field
Four years of directly related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
Minimum seven years of related experience
Three years of leadership experience in asset management, facilities management, operations and maintenance, energy infrastructure, property operations, or a related operational environment
Knowledge of facilities and asset management practices
Ability to enforce safety policies within the department
Ability to create business growth opportunities through customer management
Ability to manage profit and losses and report quarterly and monthly projections
Ability to create a reliable financial forecast
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Industry and competitor knowledge
Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary
Willingness to travel 50% of the time to job sites and office locations
Ability to assess work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness
Ability to climb stairs and remain stationary, standing or sitting for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Ability to adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
