About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership and direction to the asset management team across multiple customer sites
  • Oversee performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of customer facilities, infrastructure, and physical assets
  • Provide strategic oversight of facility maintenance, repair, and capital improvement programs
  • Review and analyze facility and asset performance metrics, operating costs, maintenance expenditures, and financial results
  • Lead annual planning for facility operations, capital projects, resource allocation, and long-range asset management strategies
  • Establish governance, standards, and best practices for asset management, facility operations, maintenance planning, and performance reporting
  • Advise Asset Managers and customers on complex operational issues, facility-related risks, capital investment priorities, and asset optimization
  • Partner with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations
  • Review and approve asset management and facility operations strategies to improve profitability, asset reliability, asset life cycles, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor' Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field
  • Four years of directly related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum seven years of related experience
  • Three years of leadership experience in asset management, facilities management, operations and maintenance, energy infrastructure, property operations, or a related operational environment
  • Knowledge of facilities and asset management practices
  • Ability to enforce safety policies within the department
  • Ability to create business growth opportunities through customer management
  • Ability to manage profit and losses and report quarterly and monthly projections
  • Ability to create a reliable financial forecast
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Industry and competitor knowledge
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time to job sites and office locations
  • Ability to assess work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness
  • Ability to climb stairs and remain stationary, standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
