About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Providing overall direction for the field installation of assigned projects.
  • Attending and contributing to the various operations meetings.
  • Plan-reading, coordination, layout, sketching and materials take-off.
  • Material, tool, and equipment handling, which includes ordering, receiving, placing, and returning.
  • Contracts scope delineations and confirms that construction drawings and specifications agree with contract scope.
  • Responding to General Contractor's requests concerning scope limits.
  • Manpower loading and maintaining the two-week look-ahead schedule.
  • Time-keeping and other administrative duties such as daily reports, JSA's, etc.
  • Ensuring that safety and other company programs are implemented and effective.
  • Building code compliance.
  • Quality control.
  • Manage to the budget, plan to the schedule and for the unexpected, meet or exceed project deadlines, all while keeping safety first.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience managing 2 or more crews of 2-3 workers each.
  • Verifiable experience working on projects of $500K+.
  • Minimum of 3 years' craft supervision experience in similar facility construction.
  • Advanced knowledge of how jobs are assembled in the field.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
