About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies
  • Evaluate and optimize energy consumption for commercial buildings
  • Frequently interact with clients, contractors, and engineers
  • Analyze, develop, and evaluate systems, improving or creating new projects
  • Collect, compile, organize, and analyze utility consumption data and rates
  • Conduct energy benchmarks using internal and external tools such as EPA Energy Star
  • Develop and implement measurement and verification plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 7+ Years of Experience in a related field
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial HVAC systems
  • Experience with energy savings projects
  • Experience with life cycle cost analyses
  • Experience in analyzing utility data
  • At least 1 of the following: CEM, CMVP, CEP, CEA, EEP, or BEP certifications through the Association of Energy Engineers or equivalent
  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft applications
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multitask
