About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Performs technical activities on assigned projects under supervision of a licensed professional engineer
Designs and prepares drawings for electrical systems for building projects
Conducts code review, lighting calculations, one-line diagrams, branch circuit and feeder calculations
Attends meetings with owners, clients, and/or architects as needed
Conducts site surveys to determine existing facility conditions
Assists in preparing punch lists and project observations reports
Participates in industry organizations and attends events

Requirements

What you’ll need

2-year Technical Degree or Associates Degree in Electrical-Related Field
4 - 5 years of experience as an electrical designer for an engineering or architectural/engineering design firm
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Revit, and AutoCAD
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast paced environment
Excellent multitasking skills
Must have Journeyman Electrician License (or equal experience).
