About the role
- Build and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, keyword rankings, and lead generation.
- Manage technical SEO, including site architecture, schema markup, crawlability, and structured data.
- Conduct keyword and intent research to inform content creation and optimization.
- Develop strategies to increase brand and content discoverability within AI-driven platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude).
- Structure and optimize content for LLM ingestion, including authoritative sourcing, FAQs, and knowledge graph alignment.
- Monitor emerging GEO best practices and proactively test new approaches for visibility in AI search.
- Partner with product marketing and content team to adapt messaging for generative AI query contexts.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure all assets are optimized for both traditional SEO and GEO.
- Track and report on organic and AI search performance, providing insights to improve visibility and engagement.
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates, search trends, and shifts in AI-powered search engines.
- Partner with digital, product, and demand generation teams to align organic and GEO efforts with broader marketing objectives.
- Work with web developer to implement technical recommendations and enhancements.
Requirements
- Strong technical SEO ability including understanding of HTML, CSS and JS for SEO purposes
- Understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) concepts, including AI search discoverability
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4)
- Strong knowledge of structured data, knowledge graphs, and content optimization for AI/LLMs
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience in B2B SaaS, data intelligence, or technology sectors is a strong plus
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
