About the role
- Oversee and assist in the day-to-day execution of commercial contracts
- Track defined contract compliance metrics
- Assist with interpreting contract language and translating requirements into actionable items
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information needed for performance monitoring
- Identify early indicators of issues based on operational data
- Attend and participate in meetings with contract counterparties
- Support negotiation strategies and drafting, redlining, and review of contract language
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong preference for 2+ years of experience in contract management, commercial analysis, compliance, insolvency, restructuring, creditor advisory, or a related field
- Experience reviewing and supporting commercial contracts, including contract execution, obligation tracking, compliance monitoring, and performance management
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
