About the role
- Assist with preventative maintenance (PMs) on UPS systems (both minor and major services)
- Help inspect, test, and troubleshoot equipment
- Support repairs such as battery replacements, fans, and capacitors
- Learn how to read basic diagrams and schematics
- Complete service reports accurately after each job
- Help with equipment start-ups, installations, and project work
- Work directly with customers and represent QPS in a professional way
- Occasionally travel overnight or work outside normal hours when needed
Requirements
- Mechanical or electrical interest (schooling or hands-on experience is a plus, but not required)
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
- Basic computer skills
