About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Safeguard information system assets by identifying and resolving security problems and threats
- Collaborate with the expanding Cybersecurity team and internal EnerSys teams on cybersecurity compliance frameworks, programs, and initiatives
- Deploy and standardize cybersecurity solutions across global operations and critical systems
- Contribute to and maintain regulatory compliance efforts
- Analyze and triage security alerts and events to detect, analyze, and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Manage and tune Data Security, SIEM, endpoint security, and other security tools
- Investigate security breaches and cybersecurity incidents, produce detailed reports, and advise on remediation
- Plan, design, and execute simulated phishing campaigns
- Evaluate emerging security trends, threats, and attack vectors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)
- Three or more years of practical experience in an information security role
- Strong analytical critical thinking skills
- Previous experience working in large-scale environments with diverse technologies
- CySA+, GSEC, or similar certifications are required
- Problem management and resolution skills
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of generally accepted security principles
- Ability to analyze data, resources, and schedules to make project decisions
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- A degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity is preferred but not required
- Active passport preferred but not required
