About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee all aspects of multiple projects from start to finish
- Develop and execute detailed project schedules and monitor on-time delivery, revenue, KPIs, and margin quality
- Meet with customers to review project scope and timeline and create estimates and quotes as needed
- Coordinate with customers, the project management office, service group stakeholders, and other departments regarding schedules, quality, and standards
- Schedule meetings, prepare materials, and draft minutes
- Manage service representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and contractors for quality, safety, cost, and timeliness compliance
- Write method of procedure and scope of work project documents
- Approve maintenance operation procedure project documents for the region
- Create and transmit kickoff and closeout documentation, floor plans, schematics, and specifications
- Collaborate with design professionals, subject matter experts, and other resources to complete projects timely and cost-effectively
- Manage project change orders and timely, accurate invoicing
- Communicate change orders to customers and/or management
- Implement customer safety, installation quality, process, and communication standards
- Enforce EnerSys standards of professionalism, quality, safety, metrics, and processes
- Track time and expenses and report accurately
- Cultivate customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-year degree or 2 years of equivalent training
- 6–8 years of related industry/construction experience
- 2–4 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of code requirements for specialty trade systems and integration into facility or project plans
- Advanced proficiency/understanding of CAD drawings, Gantt charts, MS Project, Excel, and Visio
- Ability to work with limited direct supervision
- Ability and willingness to learn and grow within the organization
- Strong verbal, telephone, and written communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the Internet
- PMP certification acquired or in process is desirable
