About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consistently exceed your sales quota by retaining, growing, and prospecting clients within your account territory.
- Use product knowledge in conjunction with knowledge of customers’ project objectives to develop unique value propositions supported by financial impact analysis and feasibility studies.
- Use Salesforce for customer relationship management activities.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, meetings, and seminars to promote products or to learn about industry developments.
- Create, maintain, and enhance relationships with key personnel for product development and sales.
- Willingness to travel nationally on a frequent basis.
- Other activities include proposals, pricing, presentations, forecasting, program management, and other duties as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2-5 years of sales experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record with minimal traffic violations
- Able and willing to travel to customer sites - 70% travel
- Able and willing to do overnight travel
- A college degree is preferred
- Specific industry sales experience is a plus, especially a proven track record of success selling advanced battery chemistries.
