About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Involves material handling, production posting, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation
  • Participate in daily cycle counts, annual physical inventory, and resolve variances
  • Use system tools to ensure reporting of issues and tracking progress to improve (HeyDo)
  • Investigate cycle count variances to try and resolve root of the issue
  • Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials
  • Create work instructions for new processes
  • Follow standards of 5S and organization
  • Complete production and scrap postings every day

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Minimum of one year of related materials or inventory experience
  • Good numerical analysis and accurate counting capabilities a must
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and enterprise resource planning systems required
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing, ISO quality procedures, and bill of materials preferred
  • Working knowledge of cycle counting, FIFO, Kan Ban, supplier quality, and inventory management preferred
