About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead all Autonomous Production Unit (APU) resources to achieve production targets
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes
- Champion EnerSys Operating System (EOS) tools
- Ensure timely disposition and corrective action of non-conforming product
- Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and production teams
- Partner with matrix managers to optimize plant performance
- Monitor KPIs and manage departmental budgets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years of production management experience
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge
- Employee relations experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- OSHA safety management knowledge
- Experience conducting risk assessments and developing safe work procedures
- Manufacturing, Production Control, Engineering, or Continuous Improvement background preferred
