About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents
  • Prepare shipping documents, including out of country shipments
  • Ensures required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file
  • Accurately and timely completes entries into BAAN/SAP
  • Creates plan shipment documents
  • Provides backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned
  • Must be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution
  • At least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and/or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center
  • Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS Office
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to do mathematical functions, including interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools
