About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinates shipping documents and reconciles production reporting daily
- Prepares transport documents for out of country shipments
- Coordinates receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents
- Prepares shipping documents, including out of country shipments
- Ensures required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file
- Accurately and timely completes entries into BAAN/SAP
- Creates plan shipment documents
- Provides backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned
- Must be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution
- At least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and/or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center
- Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS Office
- Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools
