Shipping Coordinator, 2nd Shift
EnerSysShipping Coordinator responsibilities include managing shipping documents and daily production reporting. Prepares transport documents and ensures accurate filing of shipping documents in Springfield, MO.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinates shipping documents and reconciles production reporting daily
- Prepares transport documents for out of country shipments
- Coordinates receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents
- Ensures required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file
- Accurately and timely completes entries into BAAN/SAP
- Creates plan shipment documents
- Provides backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution
- At least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center
- Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS office
- Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools
- Must be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license.
- Certain vehicles may also require a specific driver's license and have additional driving requirements.
