About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Under the direction of the V.P. of Global OPS Motive Power, be responsible for the Legacy Americas manufacturing plants in Richmond (KY), Sumter (SC) Hays (KS).
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensure the plants are structured to support future growth, and process related improvements.
Partner with Supply Chain leaders to ensure material availability, supplier quality, and cost-effective sourcing align with production requirements.
Coordinate and provide guidance and leadership to the organization according to plans, policies, strategy, legal requirements, and group governance.
Own and drive improvement in key plant metrics across People, Customer, and Shareholder categories using Plan vs Actual reporting and daily management systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong leadership and excellent managerial skills; communication, negotiation, presentation, organization, planning, analytical skills, targets oriented, market awareness.
Advanced proficiency in process optimization methodologies (e.g. Lean Management).
Demonstrated ability to coach and develop leaders with a foundation of reliability and integrity.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), data analytics tools (Power BI preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of multi-plant operations leadership with full P&L accountability.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations, preferably Battery Manufacturing but not required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in continuous improvement.
Preferably operating within an Operating System based on advanced lean principles.
English required. Spanish proficiency is a strong plus.
