About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide on-site service, maintenance, and repair for diverse range of products and equipment at customer locations.
- Specialize in Energy Systems solutions, providing support to customers who rely on products for essential services.
- Maintain and service uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), switchgear, and other critical equipment.
- Shadow experienced technician on service calls.
- Perform basic equipment checks.
- Travel to customer sites to assist with installation and repair of equipment.
- Under supervision, perform preventative maintenance tasks.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Effectively communicate with internal teams.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, and customer interactions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Basic mathematical, and mechanical aptitude; foundational electrical knowledge (Aptitude exam is part of application process; 70% passing score required)
- Availability to work non-standard hours in a 24/7 work week.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as bending, stooping, and kneeling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for insurability.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and schematics.
