About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plans for continuous improvement through all factory information systems.
- Coordinates department personnel to implement continuous improvement actions to assure resolution of complex quality problems.
- Communicates with customers and suppliers on continuous improvement actions.
- Completes top level quality trends analysis, and reporting to company, customers and third-party auditors progress made and for identification of opportunities for improvement in quality and cost.
- Planning and coordination of engineering and technical resources for the facilitation of complex problem solving in a quick response time.
- Responds to unplanned quality problems from EnerSys manufacturing processes and our customers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- English language on communicative level in writing and speaking
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (8D, 5WHY, Statistical Tools, SPC, etc.)
- Excellent PC skills with the ability to produce high quality document deliverables in short time scales
- SAP knowledge, desirably with quality module
- Familiar with technical documentation
- Team player able to work independently.
