About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide quality products to meet customer demand, production and scrap standards
- Communicate and direct/supervise production employees
- Supervise production Team Members including hiring, performance appraisals, discipline, training
- Establish work schedules
- Prepare report summaries
- Vendor and customer contact
- Machine modifications
- Coach, counsel and monitor employees work habits and personal habits
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years college coursework completed
- One year of work experience in a lead or supervisory role
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated
- Efficient organizational and planning skills
- High level of accuracy in basic math and use of 10 key calculator
- Ability to associate cause and effect relationships
- Ability to utilize and create effective Excel spreadsheets
- Use of Word, Express Outlook, PowerPoint, FIS and Fourth Shift
