About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Engineering manager establishes operational objectives and assignments and delegates assignments to subordinate managers.
- Manage and coordinate the work of a highly skilled engineering staff.
- Manages day-to-day engineering functions.
- Develop, modify and execute company policies that affect local operations.
- Manage group resources to ensure that Safety remains a primary focus.
- Identify and implement cost reduction programs to continually lower product costs.
- Develop and manage the project portfolio for the site.
- Provides direction on development, installation and improvement activities for new equipment, processes and facilities.
- Prepares accurate cost analyses for projects and forecasts project completion dates.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Engineering (ME/EE/CE/IE) with 10+ years manufacturing and project management experience
- Advanced degree preferred
- English with College level written and verbal skills
- Skills commensurate with 4 year engineering degree
- Advanced root cause and abstract problem solving abilities, visualization
- Competency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Simulation and project planning software.
