Technical Sales Representative
EnerSysTechnical Sales Representative at EnerSys selling stored energy solutions for industrial applications. Responsible for client retention, relationship building, and exceeding sales quotas.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Exceed your sales quota by retaining, growing, and prospecting clients within your account territory.
- Use product knowledge to develop unique value propositions supported by financial impact analysis.
- Use Salesforce for customer relationship management activities.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, meetings, and seminars to promote products.
- Create, maintain, and enhance relationships with key personnel for product development and sales.
- Willingness to travel nationally on a frequent basis.
- Identify the right customer stakeholders and build connections quickly to drive consensus for deals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2-5 years of sales experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record with minimal traffic violations.
- Must be 18 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
- Able and willing to travel to customer sites - 70% travel.
- Able and willing to do overnight travel.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Specific industry sales experience is a plus, especially a proven track record of success selling advanced battery chemistries.
