Key responsibilities & impact

Provide expert-level technical support to customers, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of complex battery equipment and power systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate technical issues, utilizing your in-depth knowledge and advanced diagnostic tools
Perform preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and performance optimization to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing timely, efficient, and professional service
Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance their skills and development
Lead and manage small-scale field service projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, electronics technology)
3+ years of proven experience as a Field Service Technician, demonstrating progressive responsibility and technical expertise in the battery and power systems industry
In-depth knowledge of battery technologies, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, and related systems
Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including the ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Proficiency in using specialized tools and test equipment
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be able and willing to do overnight travel
