About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Travel to customer sites to perform basic installation, preventative maintenance, and basic repair of battery equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose common technical issues, replace defective parts, and reassemble equipment
  • Provide on-site technical assistance and training to customers on the safe operation of their equipment
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely, efficient, and professional service
  • Effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs, explain technical details, and resolve concerns
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and the company to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 standards
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, and customer interactions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 1 ½ years of field service experience in electrical, telecom, or energy-related fields
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and test equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as schematics and manuals
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for insurability
  • Availability to work non-standard hours in a 24/7 work week
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. and carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, such as bending, stooping, and kneeling.
