Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for segment-level controllership and government accounting compliance execution across the line of business
Leads FAR and CAS accounting interpretation and execution implications in partnership with the Government Contracts & Compliance function
Ensures consistent, audit-ready accounting practices across all EAS operating entities
Plays a critical role in segment-wide close coordination, balance sheet quality review, reporting integrity, and communication
Drive DCAA audit readiness, coordination, response execution, and sustained remediation at the segment level
Coordinate consistent accounting execution compliant with US GAAP and EnerSys policies across Specialty entities

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA preferred)
Significant experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting environments
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP; FAR required; CAS familiarity where applicable; demonstrated DCAA audit exposure
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in matrixed organizations with decentralized reporting structures
Strong judgment, communication skills, and executive presence
U.S. Citizen required; ITAR constraints apply.
