Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and oversee construction project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Coordinate project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Manage and coordinate on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and skilled trades.
Ensure all project personnel understand their roles and responsibilities.
Conduct regular site meetings to ensure alignment and communication across all team members.
Monitor project expenses and oversee budget allocations.
Control project costs to avoid overruns and address any discrepancies or changes.
Approve purchase orders and ensure efficient use of materials and resources.
Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, changes, and inspections.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Address and resolve any unexpected issues or delays to keep the project on schedule.
Serve as the primary and secondary point of contact for clients, updating them on project status.
Facilitate clear communication between all parties, including architects, engineers, suppliers, and regulators.
Provide regular progress reports and ensure all stakeholders are informed of any changes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in construction management or a similar role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Certification in construction management (e.g., PMP, CCM) is a plus
