Process Engineer
EnerSysProcess Engineer responsible for managing engineering projects and providing technical support at EnerSys. Joining a global leader in stored energy solutions for varied industrial applications.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides expert technical support to operations and other disciplines within engineering organization.
- Identifies, develops, recommends, and manages processes needed to produce specific products and components.
- Manage approved engineering projects.
- Supports specific production areas with respect to throughput, scrap, quality, ergonomics, staffing and flexibility.
- Develop, implement and manage manufacturing process improvements.
- Provide advanced technical support to maintenance and operations.
- Manage TPPL – Common processes with Newport and Arras.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree or equivalent experience in engineering.
- 3 years engineering experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Supervisory experience desired for future growth potential.
- College level written and verbal English skills.
- College level Geometry, Algebra, and Trigonometry.
- Advanced Root cause and abstract problem solving, visualization and quality tools.
- Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Lean, Six Sigma or project management certificates are desirable.
- Strong planning, analytical, assertive, and personal interaction skills.
