About the role
- Providing on-site service, maintenance, and repair for products and equipment at customer locations
- Specializing in Energy Systems solutions, providing support for essential services like telecommunications, data centers, emergency power
- Maintaining and servicing uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), switchgear, and other critical equipment
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships by providing timely, efficient, and professional service
- Completing records of service calls, maintenance activities, and customer interactions
Requirements
- Basic mathematical, and mechanical aptitude
- Foundational electrical knowledge (Aptitude exam is part of application process; 70% passing score required)
- Availability to work non-standard hours in a 24/7 work week
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for insurability.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and schematics.
