About the role
- Lead and coordinate Quality activities with battery suppliers
- Represent EnerSys and develop solutions for quality components and stable/repeatable processes
- Interface with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams
- Manage task prioritization and activities
- Drive corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure robust quality methods are utilized
- Perform product and process audits on a routine basis
- Prepare weekly/monthly Supplier Quality related Reports
Requirements
- Quality tools experience (i.e. AIAG core tools)
- Experience with battery manufacturing and sub-components
- Program management skills
- Experience with dealing with suppliers, minimum 3 years as SQE
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Preferred)
- Certified IATF 16949 or VDA 6.3 auditor (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s in Science – Engineering (or 6-years as SQE)
