About the role
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for hybrid power solutions, primarily within the U.S. defense and military sectors.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on our hybrid power systems.
- Understand complex power requirements and demonstrate how Rebel products successfully integrate with generators and military vehicles and renewable power solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and engineering proposals to prospective military clients and defense contractors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing ongoing technical guidance and post-sales support.
- Work closely with product management and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback, mission-critical requirements, and specific product improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specific focus on Power desired.
- 5+ years of proven experience working directly in power systems.
- Deep understanding of hybrid power systems, power conversion (Both AC and DC, 100W to 60kW), batteries, and system integration with generators, tactical vehicles, and non-tactical vehicles.
- Background & Security Clearance: Must be able to securely access military installations. Candidates must be able to pass a strict background check. A minimum of a DoD Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to client sites, military bases, trade shows, and field testing locations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineering personnel and military procurement officers.
