💰 $75,000 - $95,000 per year
About the role
- Develop, maintain, and expand key strategic relationships with Military customers and achieve sales target objectives in assigned territory
- Collaborate with the customer to define their requirements and in turn, with sales and engineering/program management teams to identify a strong requirement that can be delivered profitably while meeting the customers’ expectations
- Travel (continental US) is expected both individually as well as part of the sales/business development team to customers as well as customer facing venues and shows throughout the year (estimate 50-75% travel)
- Pursue new and existing opportunities in core battery and charger platforms as well as targeted growth areas in larger capacity batteries and systems for both military and industrial/commercial use
- Work in concert with the management team to support conferences, exhibitions, exercises, and customer engagements.
Requirements
- 10+ years sales and marketing -or- equivalent military experience in lieu of industry experience
- Experience in the energy sector preferred
- Military practical knowledge and DOD base access highly preferred
- All prospective employees must pass a background check.
