About the role

  • Develop, maintain, and expand key strategic relationships with Military customers and achieve sales target objectives in assigned territory
  • Collaborate with the customer to define their requirements and in turn, with sales and engineering/program management teams to identify a strong requirement that can be delivered profitably while meeting the customers’ expectations
  • Travel (continental US) is expected both individually as well as part of the sales/business development team to customers as well as customer facing venues and shows throughout the year (estimate 50-75% travel)
  • Pursue new and existing opportunities in core battery and charger platforms as well as targeted growth areas in larger capacity batteries and systems for both military and industrial/commercial use
  • Work in concert with the management team to support conferences, exhibitions, exercises, and customer engagements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years sales and marketing -or- equivalent military experience in lieu of industry experience
  • Experience in the energy sector preferred
  • Military practical knowledge and DOD base access highly preferred
  • All prospective employees must pass a background check.
