About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform maintenance and repairs on generators, light towers, and electrical distribution systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems (12/24V DC, 480V AC), and controls
Respond to field service calls and support customer sites when needed
Help guide and support junior technicians in daily work activities
Complete preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
Maintain accurate service records and reports
Coordinate with operations and logistics to keep equipment ready for deployment
Assist with Field Tech work as required
Additional duties, as requested

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience working on generators, diesel engines, or heavy equipment
Strong troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical systems
Experience with power generation equipment (preferred)
Ability to work independently and in field conditions
Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus
