About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and support communications technicians across multiple job sites
Oversee installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of communications systems
Dispatch technicians and coordinate daily field activities
Provide hands-on support for rig-ups, rig-downs, and system moves
Troubleshoot satellite, LTE, networking, and camera systems
Support customers with technical issues and service needs
Coordinate with internal teams including Housing and Power Generation
Maintain equipment, inventory, and vendor relationships
Assist with development and deployment of new technologies
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Track technician hours, performance, and operational reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years in communications, telecom, or networking field roles
Leadership or supervisor experience preferred
Experience with networking, LTE, or satellite systems
Cable installation and termination (RJ-45, coaxial)
Ability to troubleshoot field connectivity systems
Experience with cameras or monitoring systems is an asset
Preferred Technical certifications such as Network+ or similar
Background in telecom, electronics, or IT-related field
