About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and document business needs
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs
- Manage epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Partner with experts and engineers to support solution design
- Provide guidance to delivery teams to reduce ambiguity
- Communicate effectively through presentations, emails, and meeting notes
- Support cross-team coordination and backlog refinement
- Review delivered features to ensure alignment with requirements
- Facilitate planning sessions and perform data analysis
- Identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Ten years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting complex software platforms
- Experience in Agile software development lifecycle
- Strong technical analysis skills to translate business needs into specifications
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Jira or similar tools
- Ability to perform data analysis using SQL, BI tools, or similar platforms
- Additional exposure to Python/Django and API-based systems is a plus
- Experience in energy, sustainability, or utility-related domains is a plus
