About the role
- Lead the implementation of energy efficiency and electrification programs through launching and monitoring emerging technology projects on State-run software platforms\n
- Translate a variety of energy program and equipment details from nontechnical to technical audiences, and vice versa\n
- Ensure alignment of implementation activities between internal technical teams and consulting stakeholders by gathering program and user requirements\n
- Working with internal and partner teams to develop and document project results\n
- Planning and monitoring timelines to complete projects on time and on budget\n
- Providing guidance and training to peers in different roles, and to junior team members completing similar technical support work
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree (preferably with a quantitative focus, e.g. environmental science, engineering, information systems management, or a related field)\n
- At least five years of relevant work experience\n
- Foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, including:\n
- System loops and thermodynamics\n
- Mass and energy balances\n
- Engineering schematics and system reference materials\n
- Experience contributing to technical projects, such as:\n
- Energy modeling\n
- Reporting on technical development\n
- Collaborating with system designers or engineers\n
- Supporting research or literature review efforts\n
- Ability to independently troubleshoot issues involving complex data or formulas\n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance\n
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and maintain strong personal accountability\n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n
- Strong project management capabilities
