About the role

  • Convey the of EnergyHub’s platform, services, and program offerings to clients and prospects
  • Conduct client discovery, provide software demos, and engage with prospective client decision-makers in support of EnergyHub’s Sales processes
  • Become a technical authority on EnergyHub’s software platform and program offerings
  • Assess customer business requirements and key pain points, and work closely with the Product team to design solutions that deliver compelling ROI
  • Work closely with EnergyHub’s product and marketing teams to ensure that EnergyHub is delivering the right message to the market
  • Facilitate customer feedback so that EnergyHub’s Product teams can inform roadmaps
  • Serve as the technical expert during the sales process, from initial discovery and product evaluation through contract negotiation
  • Play a supporting role in the RFP process, helping provide content in support of unique requirements
  • Coordinate post-close handoff to the Implementation and Client Success teams
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in technical, enterprise software sales, product management, or related fields
  • Energy industry preferred, particularly demand side management
  • Experience with requirements management tools and processes
  • Exceptional communication and project management
  • Experience with platform integrations, APIs, data transfers preferred
  • Ability to travel for client visits, prospect demos, industry conferences, etc.
