About the role
- Develop control functions for wind turbines with the goal of optimizing mechanical loads and energy yield
- Identify and project-manage promising initiatives for control-system development
- Integrate control algorithms into the turbine control system, including programming tasks
- Work closely with various engineering disciplines and relevant certification bodies
- Evaluate the control performance of the turbine fleet
- Develop internal software tools
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with above-average results in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
- Programming experience, preferably in C/C++, Simulink and MATLAB, or Python
- Knowledge of system simulation and control engineering or PLC programming
- Professional experience in a related area such as control-system development, wind-turbine technology, or simulation-based engineering is an advantage
- Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively in technical and collaborative environments
- German or Dutch language skills are desirable
