About the role

  • You are responsible for tendering and awarding crane services and complex installation works.
  • You manage procurement for on-site construction services from planning through to acceptance.
  • In collaboration with project management controlling, you prepare accurate preliminary cost estimates.
  • You lead contract negotiations with confidence and further develop our supplier strategy.
  • You report directly to the responsible team leader / Lead Category Manager.
  • Willingness to travel approx. 10% to key suppliers and for team meetings.

Requirements

  • Degree (Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration) or comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally in construction or industrial services.
  • Confident user of SAP and business-fluent German and English.
  • Team-player mentality for collaboration within the specialist department.
  • German and English at negotiation/business-fluent level (CEFR C).
