About the role
- Ensure and coordinate in-process and outgoing goods inspections according to internal and external quality standards
- Develop and optimize inspection processes and methods
- Analyze quality deviations and initiate corrective actions
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the team
- Train and develop staff in quality assurance methods
- Perform inventory counts of blocked/quarantined stock
- Carry out root cause analyses and define corrective measures
- Support internal and external audits
- Foster a positive working environment and an open communication culture
- Continuously improve workflows by involving the team
Requirements
- Ideally a Meister (master craftsman) or technician in electrical engineering, or several years of professional experience in a production environment or a comparable field
- Initial leadership experience with personnel responsibility is an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of occupational safety, project management and Lean management
- Expertise in handling quality metrics and control approaches to achieve quality objectives, as well as basic commercial/business acumen
- Very good German and basic English
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
- High self-motivation, independent and entrepreneurial working style, organizational talent, commitment and assertiveness
- Excellent communication, motivation, facilitation and presentation skills
