About the role

  • Developing and continuously advancing a future-oriented S/4HANA system landscape for the Accounting and Tax departments, including the design and coordination of all relevant topics in the context of small enhancements and projects
  • Ensuring strategic development in the finance domain through execution of (large-scale) projects, e.g., developing a new ledger concept (HGB, IFRS, etc.) and supporting the internal fast-close initiative
  • Designing, planning, and implementing regulatory requirements such as the EU Taxonomy and ViDA, and introducing a new consolidation solution
  • Customizing and optimizing SAP FI (GL, AA, AP, AR, etc.), DRC, and adjacent modules
  • Ensuring strategic technology development and identifying optimization and cost-saving potentials
  • Advising project, product, and/or component owners in Accounting and Tax on complex issues and supporting executive management in strategic technology decisions
  • Analyzing and evaluating business requirements, deriving recommendations to optimize IT solutions, and prioritizing in close communication with the business units and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge transfer and documentation of insights and lessons learned within the subject-matter expertise

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in SAP consulting for finance, e.g., as a Lead or Senior Consultant SAP FI/CO, IT Product Owner / Application Manager Finance, IT Business Analyst, or Solution Architect Finance/Compliance
  • Experience in requirements management, architecture design, and system integration
  • Know-how in project management and financial processes, ideally within an IT environment
  • Good knowledge of SAP FI/CO
  • Very good German and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to analyze, structure, and implement technical and functional requirements
