About the role
- Ongoing maintenance of software for the control of wind turbines and development of solution concepts
- Evaluation, optimization and implementation of complex control systems for the operation of wind energy plants
- Optimization of the control software to ensure plant availability
- Conducting software tests in a test environment and on wind turbines
- Collaboration with the service department to perform fault and disruption analyses
- Participation in agile development teams and interdisciplinary coordination with stakeholders
Requirements
- Master’s degree in engineering, e.g., Software Engineering, Automation, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC), automation technology and wind turbine control systems
- Proficient programming skills in C++ and MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience with HIL systems and Bachmann control systems is an advantage
- Good communication skills in German and English
