About the role

  • Ongoing maintenance of software for the control of wind turbines and development of solution concepts
  • Evaluation, optimization and implementation of complex control systems for the operation of wind energy plants
  • Optimization of the control software to ensure plant availability
  • Conducting software tests in a test environment and on wind turbines
  • Collaboration with the service department to perform fault and disruption analyses
  • Participation in agile development teams and interdisciplinary coordination with stakeholders

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering, e.g., Software Engineering, Automation, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC), automation technology and wind turbine control systems
  • Proficient programming skills in C++ and MATLAB/Simulink
  • Experience with HIL systems and Bachmann control systems is an advantage
  • Good communication skills in German and English
