About the role

  • Ensuring product and process compliance from the concept phase through series release
  • Implementing and continuously improving quality and control processes
  • Developing and implementing quality strategies for the focus component
  • Monitoring product changes and approving releases from a quality perspective
  • Leading root-cause analyses, lessons‑learned workshops and action tracking
  • Organizing and supporting audits as well as preparing development gates
  • Close collaboration with Production, Service and Purchasing to ensure end-to-end quality

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Quality Management, or Electrical Engineering
  • Qualification as a Quality Manager and several years of experience in a development environment
  • Auditor certification according to ISO 19011 / ISO 9001 (advantageous)
  • Confident use of methods and tools such as FMEA, APQP and PPAP
  • Ideally Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
  • Excellent German and English (C1 level) both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of standards, legal requirements and customer specifications
  • Intercultural competence, strong communication skills and analytical thinking
