About the role

  • You assess project requirements and advise clients on the optimal use of hybrid systems and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
  • You coordinate business cases and economic feasibility calculations in collaboration with direct marketers and specialist departments.
  • You prepare technical concepts and reports for Power System Consulting, including infrastructure and control/automation overviews.
  • You support clients in technical coordination with grid operators to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • You define and review the technical scope in hybrid contracts and actively support negotiations.

Requirements

  • Degree (Dipl.-Ing.), Master's or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power/Energy Engineering
  • Ideally, professional experience with hybrid systems and battery energy storage systems (BESS)
  • Knowledge of measurement and control engineering (instrumentation & control)
  • Structured, conceptual and goal-oriented working style
  • Constructive and open communication skills
  • Business-fluent German
  • Good written and spoken English is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel within Germany, approx. 5%
