About the role
- Analyze grid connection regulations as requirements engineering for hybrid software solutions
- Develop and enhance higher-level wind farm control systems for hybrid PLC-based systems
- Design control concepts for hybrid control systems and derive their parameterization as well as implement required software developments
- Support the creation and coordination of test and validation procedures with grid operators and certification bodies
- Support tests to ensure compliance with grid connection requirements on-site or remotely
- Analyze electrical grid data or network simulations with respect to the electrical behaviour of hybrid power plants
- Support coordination of technical topics related to the control of hybrid power plants with internal and external partners
Requirements
- Dipl.-Ing., Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (BA/FH/University) in Electrical Engineering, Automation or Communication Technology
- Strong MS Office skills
- Desirable knowledge in the following areas:
- Networks: Profibus, Ethernet, Modbus, CANbus, Profinet, OPC, etc.
- Controls/PLCs: Siemens, Eaton, Beckhoff, WAGO
- Programming languages: AWL (Instruction List), Structured Text, C++
- Business-fluent German
- Good English (written and spoken) is advantageous
- Willingness to travel within Germany, approx. 5%
