About the role

  • Specialized electrical engineering support for secondary systems, particularly protection and control systems
  • Development and adaptation of protection concepts and creation of relay settings (parameterization)
  • Execution of commissioning activities and quality assurance of protection tests
  • Technical support for project management of battery energy storage systems (BESS)
  • Coordination with relevant grid-operator stakeholders and internal technical departments (e.g., parameterization of hybrid controllers)

Requirements

  • Completed certified technician (Techniker) or master craftsman (Meister) qualification, alternatively a degree in electrical engineering
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in substations, medium-voltage switchgear, or battery storage systems
  • Knowledge of protection and control technology
  • Responsible and team-oriented approach to work
  • Business-fluent German
  • Good written and spoken English advantageous
  • Willingness to travel within Germany, approx. 30%
