About the role
- Specialized electrical engineering support for secondary systems, particularly protection and control systems
- Development and adaptation of protection concepts and creation of relay settings (parameterization)
- Execution of commissioning activities and quality assurance of protection tests
- Technical support for project management of battery energy storage systems (BESS)
- Coordination with relevant grid-operator stakeholders and internal technical departments (e.g., parameterization of hybrid controllers)
Requirements
- Completed certified technician (Techniker) or master craftsman (Meister) qualification, alternatively a degree in electrical engineering
- 3–5 years of professional experience in substations, medium-voltage switchgear, or battery storage systems
- Knowledge of protection and control technology
- Responsible and team-oriented approach to work
- Business-fluent German
- Good written and spoken English advantageous
- Willingness to travel within Germany, approx. 30%
