About the role
- Senior Civil/Structural Engineer onsite in Richland, WA within Enercon's Nuclear Services Group
- Coordinate and interface with various engineering teams to ensure seamless project integration
- Review and refine designs, drawings, and data to uphold technical excellence and accuracy
- Prepare design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates
- Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality with minimal oversight
- Travel to oversee field installations, checkouts, and start-ups
- Lead and guide technical teams and mentor staff to maintain high standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 6 years of power system design experience in the Nuclear Industry
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired
- Knowledge of discipline-specific computer analysis codes as well as standard office production software
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Familiar with the International Building code and building code design
- Good writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Familiar with concrete and steel design codes and with working stress and ultimate strength design approaches
- Must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility
- Must be able to perform plant walkdowns
