Provide seismic/structural engineering support for advanced structural analysis and design, and seismic qualification of structures, systems, and components (SSCs) of nuclear facilities
Develop design studies, prepare engineering calculations and analysis, attend project meetings, perform walkdowns, and mentor junior employees
Develop finite element models and perform seismic analysis such as Modal Analysis, Response Spectrum Analysis, Time History Analysis, and Equivalent Static Load Analysis
Perform Soil-Structure Interaction Analysis to generate in-structure response spectra (ISRS) and to extract displacements, forces, and moments at various structural elements
Design and analyze concrete and steel structural elements located within a nuclear facility such as equipment foundation pads, large liquid storage tanks, equipment and pipe/conduit supports
Execute civil/structural and seismic calculations, perform design verification and peer reviews, and prepare high quality engineering deliverables and reports according to industry codes and ENERCON QA Programs
Provide guidance, instruction and mentoring to less experienced engineers
Support proposal development including defining technical scope and estimating engineering hours
Travel to plant sites to interface with client personnel, and to perform walk downs of plant structures, systems, and components related to project work scope
