About the role
- Manage the full end to end project delivery lifecycle and deliver added value to the business
- Collaborate with senior management and other business stakeholders ensuring robust delivery processes and availability of resources needed to achieve project objectives
- Define a project´s scope and goals and ensure strategic alignment
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects and support program managers in developing roadmaps and operating plans for large transformation programs
- Analyze the needs of the business to define mandatory project deliverables and ensure delivery in time, in budget and in quality (Re-)Design management, support & operational processes
- Create and execute User Acceptance Testing Strategies and approaches
- Create comprehensive change management strategies to ensure stakeholders and business are properly prepared for any change emerging from our projects
- Distribute regular status reports on project´s progress and provide transparency on relevant management KPIs
- Engage with multiple Workstream leaders and provide guidance on approach and delivery
- Establish governance processes and protocols complying with all applicable laws and regulations and ensure usage of project management standards & best practices
- Ensure solutions delivered via projects are conform to laws, regulations and guidelines
- Actively manage project risks, issues and dependencies and work on mitigation actions
- Manage project administration, including relevant documentation and ensuring to have a proper audit trail in place
- Look for synergies, simplification options and conduct regular lessons learned sessions to continuously improve
- Make assessments of effectiveness of program or project management processes allowing for improved delivery and agile adoption
- Champion adoption of project management systems, tools & processes where appropriate
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of experience in project management roles within high growth and rapid change environments
- Bachelor’s degree and proven competency in project management and Insurance Business required.
- Experience of Target Operating Model, Process / Business Change approaches such as Lean, Design Thinking or Agile Management
- Experience in Insurance systems, such as Guidewire, Salesforce and SAP
- Well-rounded experience in project management, leadership, operations & performance management and organizational effectiveness
- Detailed understanding and comfort level with project management systems (PPM Pro, MS Project, Visio etc.)
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously using the advantages of a cross-functional team that involves colleagues across different departments (i.a. Finance, IT, UW, Operations, etc.) & countries
- Exceptional administrative skills that reflect ability to perform processes consistently and with a high attention to detail
- Proven hands-on leader with a willingness to analyze and build, and unafraid to roll-up their sleeves to drive projects in partnership with business leaders.
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal) combined with the ability to manage people, with strong interpersonal skills, relationship building skills and strong negotiation skills
