About the role
- Help build coverage of China’s booming biopharma industry.
- Cover Chinese biotechs including R&D work, public and private financial markets, and key industry power players.
- Work closely with the US team to help readers understand US-China interactions.
- Help uncover startups, interesting science, and new entrepreneurs.
- Shape coverage and regional footprint, assist in resource hiring, and manage a team.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in business journalism; including experience covering business and biopharma
- Excellent written and spoken English, plus Mandarin language skills
- Located in or willing to relocate to Hong Kong, able to travel to mainland China
- Collaborative, entrepreneurial attitude
